C905 starring in upcoming commercial campaign

Sony Ericsson has revealed plans of an upcoming TV commercial with the C905 in the star role. Sony Ericsson has hooked up with professional photographer Matt Stuart, who will be taking pictures with the C905 to use in the campaign. These pictures will then be posted as enourmous photos in unusual locations in various cities.

- The C905 Cyber-shot is a powerful 8.1 megapixel camera phone, said Sven Totté, Head of Imaging Marketing at Sony Ericsson in a press release. We really wanted to show consumers what is possible with the camera phone and showcase the outstanding picture quality it can deliver. Therefore the images in the commercial were actually taken with a C905 Cyber-shot camera phone, he continues.

Up coming low-end Walkman phone

Another copy and paste from SE. It’s F305 this time. So, if you remember the gaming phone, you’ll have some ideas of how this new Walkman phone will be.

It’s a small low-end Walkman in slide form factor. You can also expect stereo speaker and same sets of feature of F305 like camera and bluetooth, with special touch of Walkman player and using Walkman key instead of Game key. It will also feature changeable face plate (like F305). I do not know how many colour of this device SE will produce, but I know the existance of the purple one.

[update] as SEMCBlog pointed out, this Walkman usign ‘Yao’ as its codename. (Ying is F305 codename)

[update] another thing I forgot to tell you though, Yao doesn’t have two short cut keys above its screen (O and X key on F305)

What’s happen to my Kumiko!

Kumiko just got official and I noticed something very strange.

To be more specific, the pictures of G705 provided by Sony Ericsson.

It’s appear that the pictures come with same old browser UI as many phones already offer by Sony Ericsson, which is not the case of my testing unit of Kumiko & Shiho. Even know that these things can differ from the retail version but still the newer one is look a lot nicer.

update another version of browser on G705 is the one that I have and interesting enough the colour will change everytime you exit and re-enter the browser, colours include green, red, purple, blue, orange

Sony Ericsson C905(Shiho) changes from the inside

There are a lot of rumours about camera module of this 8 mega pixel beast, some one said that it utilise Sammy’s part. But one thing I know for sure that new version of C905 featuring new camera part. The older one do not really promising at all but this time around I think it is a good performer. I guess we have to wait and see who will win this war SE or Sammy or its Korean neighbor LG and see what Nokia will shoot at us as well.

The other thing thogh, despite changes of camera module SE has made to C905, there is a rumour about take the part that found in Sony’s Alpha out of Shiho as well. I do not know if that is true but if it were true it is not really spread out just yet.

Anyway, I want to know what youguys think or you know what I do not? Any one?
